You can use this service to apply for any Bahrain visa as listed in the table below. Your visa type will be automatically selected by the system based on your length of stay in Bahrain as per your itinerary, nationality and country of residence.

All visa fees, service fees and incidentals charged (if any) are in US Dollars and are non-refundable for all applications, including unsuccessful applications.

How to Apply and pay

Applications can be made a maximum of 30 days or a minimum of 4 working days prior to travel. Gulf Air and VFS Global recommend you to apply as early in advance as possible.

Application Requirements

All applicants must have a machine-readable individual passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Bahrain (You will not be able to apply using this service for children who are endorsed on parents' passports). To complete the application, all applicants require clear, colored electronic scans of the following:

  • Passport information (bio page) /picture page(s)
  • Confirmed Return/Onward Airline Ticket
  • Hotel Confirmation Voucher / Copy of Relative’s CPR along with the Invitation letter

Additional documents

In order to strengthen your application, you can upload additional documents such as those listed below. Applicants from some countries of residence are required to provide additional documents during the online application process.

  • Bank Statement of last 3 Months with ending balance of not less than 8000 USD
  • Copy of Valid Visa of any of the following countries; USA, UK, Canada, European, GCC, or Schengen countries.
  • If you have a host in Bahrain you will require a signed, scanned copy of an invitation letter from the host clearly mentioning that he/she will ensure your departure from Bahrain within the validity of the visa, along with copy of his / her Bahrain resident visa, Bahrain ID/CPR and Passport (information / bio page).
