The online visa facility offered through the Ministry of Interior via the reference of Gulf Air and VFS Global is available to any valid passport holder of any applicable nationality and country of residence
visiting Bahrain and who fulfills the eligibility criteria prescribed from time to time by Gulf Air and subject to the guidelines prescribed by the Ministry Of Interiors (“MOI”).

VFS Global’s role in processing visa applications is confined to the following:
Neither VFS Global nor Gulf Air shall be liable for any claim whatsoever including but not limited to refund of visa and service fees where an application is not forwarded to Misintry of Interiors in Manama under the terms of the mandate received by the referee and / or the applicant not fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed by the referee. The applicant specifically agrees to the same.
While using the facility, users/visa applicants are urged not to engage or avail services of unauthorized persons, entities and touts. Applicants are also advised against divulging any personal and other information such as payment receipts, passport particulars and related details to third persons. The user/visa applicant alone shall be solely responsible for any resultant consequences and may also become liable for appropriate prosecutions and liabilities.
User Terms and Conditions
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the user/visa applicant acknowledges that Gulf Air and the Ministry of interiors reserve the right to ask for further documents, information and material to assess an application and take a decision in their own discretion on the basis of such information / further information, material and documents submitted or furnished by the applicant.
The user/visa applicant further acknowledges that the reference of the visa is at the sole discretion of Gulf Air and the decision of Gulf Air in this regard shall be final. Likewise, applicant understands that the grant, duration, condition/s or refusal or the time taken to process an application and grant a Bahrain Visa are at the sole discretion of the Ministry of Interiors and their decision in this regard shall be final. In case of non-forwarding of the application or any delay in the process or rejection of visa application, no correspondence will be entertained from the user/visa applicant with VFS Global and / or Gulf Air and visa fees and/or service fees will not be refunded. Gulf Air as referee assigns no reasons in such cases. Neither VFS Global nor Gulf Air shall be liable to a user/visa applicant in any manner in any of these cases.
While VFS Global takes every reasonable care and precaution in handling, reviewing and delivering the Documents of visa applicants, VFS Global shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the Documents including passport/s images, for any reason whatsoever or in any manner howsoever (save where it is proven in a competent court of law that the loss or the damage was due to the willful, intentional or reckless act of VFS Global or any of its staff acting in the course of their employment).
Further, VFS Global shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever to any visa applicant/s for any Documents lost in transit by accident, theft, natural calamities (acts of God) or any other reason outside the control of, or not arising out of any willful act or default by VFS Global and also if documents are handed over directly to the visa applicant by the Gulf Air. VFS Global does not warrant or guarantee the delivery of the Documents, material or information as a visa applicant may require, but will extend and provide services to the extent and to the points as notified and communicated to a visa applicant.
The applicant agrees and accepts that VFS GLOBAL neither controls Ministry of Interiors nor does it control or operate the services provided by them. Hence, VFS GLOBAL will not be liable or responsible in any manner whatsoever for the loss or damage of applicant's Documents due to any default on the part of the Gulf Air/Ministry of Interiors.
The use of
("Site")is at the discretion of VFS Global and use by anyone may be restricted or terminated by VFS Global at any time. For efficient and faster processing of the visa applications, VFS Global has agreed to provide Gulf Air with online platform as a means of communication between the Gulf Air/Ministry of Interiors and the visa applicant. Also, VFS Global ensure that the documents are as per the mandates provided by Gulf Air/Ministry of Interiors.”
In no event and under no circumstances shall VFS Global or Gulf Air and/or their representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever to anyone. Please see DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY below.
Applicants should note that the issuance of a visa or approval of a visa application does not in any way give the applicant/passenger an automatic right to enter Bahrain. Entry into Bahrain is at the sole discretion of the Immigration officer at Bahrain International Airport who is a representative of Ministry of Interiors. In case of denial of visa or denial of entry into Bahrain by the Ministry of Interiors, VFS Global shall in no way be liable to the applicant in any manner whatsoever. The visa must be accepted as offered and is non-transferable.
Gulf Air reserve the right to add, alter or vary these terms and conditions at any time without notice or liability and all applicants availing of this facility shall be bound by the same.
VFS Global shall not be liable if the visa expires before the applicant enters Bahrain notwithstanding that a copy of the itinerary has been sent to VFS Global. It shall be the sole responsibility of the applicant to plan his/her itinerary within the visa period.
By using the domain and sub-domains of the Site, the user agrees to the following terms and conditions, including those available by hyperlink (the "Agreement" or "User Agreement") with VFS Global and the website/s of its affiliate/s, joint venture partner/s, agencies, subsidiaries and clients. Please note that you are dealing with VFS Global, its affiliate/s, joint venture partner/s, agencies, subsidiaries and clients and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. The off line partners, franchisees, of VFS Global shall not be liable for any issues or disputes arising out of the use of this web site by the user / applicant or delay or non-forwarding of the application or rejection of visa pursuant to the online application. PROHIBITION AGAINST UNLAWFUL USE

In case of any unlawful, illegal or prohibited use, you shall be liable for action under applicable laws of the Mauritius laws including among others and as amended from time to time and shall also be liable for damages.
LIMITATION OF USE
Without limiting other remedies, VFS Global at the advice or under the directions of the Referee or its clients limit, suspend, terminate temporarily or permanently, disable or prevent a user account or restrict or deny a user from making use of its service, prohibit access to its website/s, remove hosted content, and take technical and legal steps to keep user/s off the Site if VFS Global thinks that the user is or is attempting to resort to abnormal usage or abuse, creating problems or possible legal liabilities, or is not acting consistently with the normal usage.
VFS has taken necessary steps to implement and maintain security practices and procedures to protect User Information from unauthorized access, damage, use, modification, disclosure or impairment. VFS has in place suitable protection mechanism and guidelines for usage, retention and protection of User Information against unauthorized access, disclosure or abuse. However, neither VFS Global nor Gulf Air or Gulf Air Tourism Authority shall be liable in any manner for any events that occur in spite of such steps, security practices, procedures, protection mechanisms and guidelines.
INTEREST FREE SECURITY DEPOSIT
i) A visa applicant may be required to pay an Interest Free Security Deposit (“deposit”) and the said fact will be made known to him/her at the time of submission of his/her visa application. In such circumstances, the visa application will be processed upon the applicant paying the deposit. The deposit shall be refundable either upon the applicant departing from Bahrain or the applicant’s visa application being rejected / lapsed, as the case may be.
ii) The process to refund the deposit will be initiated by VFS within a period of 4 working days commencing from the applicant’s date of departure from Bahrain (provided the said departure details are recorded with the Bahrain immigration system) (or) within a period of 4 working days commencing from the date of rejection of the applicants visa application.
iii) Though the process to refund the deposit will be initiated as stated above, the actual credit to the applicant’s account will depend on the different payment / billing cycles of the credit card companies / banks world over.
iv) In the event the applicant does not receive the refund of the deposit from his / her credit card companies / banks for two consecutive payments / billing cycles from the date of applicant departing from Bahrain or rejection of his / her visa application, the remedy available to the applicant will be as follows:
The Applicant will be required to provide VFS Global with a scanned copy of (a) his/her Bahrain Exit Stamp duly stamped on the passport by the immigration authorities of Qatar while exiting Qatar (or) (b) the rejected application, as the case may be. Upon receiving the same, VFS Global will verify & further authenticate the applicant’s exit from Bahrain or rejection of his / her visa. VFS Global will thereafter authorize the refund and the actual credit to the applicant’s account will depend on the different payment / billing cycles as mentioned in (iii) above.
EXPRESS SERVICE FACILITY
Express Service Facility
is meant to give priority to Applicants in processing their Visa applications and sending the same for processing to MOI on a priority basis. VFS/ Gulf Air do not assure any time frame within which the MOI will process the Visa application. The Applicant understands and agrees that fulfillment of the Express service facility within the stipulated time depends solely on the approval of the MOI. VFS / Gulf Air shall not be responsible or liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or claim in case of refusal or delay by MOI in providing the Visa. Express Service Facility is expected to quicken the processing of the Visa application at VFS/. “The express visa if applied for will be processed and the status of the application will be emailed to the client within 48 working hours subject to the application being complete, documentation in order and all requisite information correctly and accurately provided.”
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
While VFS Global makes and strives to provide secure and continuous connectivity and internet access, VFS Global and/or, Gulf Air as Referee, and the MOI shall not be responsible or liable to a user for any loss or consequential damage, including among other things, any loss of data obtained, Documents, time, or other information furnished or entered on the Site or the application forms which may, among other things, have occurred as a result of any events or acts leading to interruptions such as internet connectivity, transmission of signals, server breakdown, systems crashing, hacking, servicing and any other events or acts beyond the control of such parties.
User/visa applicant agrees not to hold VFS Global or Gulf Air responsible for other user actions or inactions, including but not limited to acts or things as a result of which there may be loss of connectivity, loss of data and/or loss of Documents or data furnished.
Further, while secure and continuous access to the website is sought to be provided, VFS Global does not guarantee continuous or secure access to operation of the Site, as the same may be interfered by numerous factors outside the control of VFS Global. Accordingly, to the extent legally permitted, VFS Global excludes all implied warranties, terms and conditions. VFS Global and Gulf Air are not liable for any loss of money, time, goodwill, or reputation, or any special, indirect, or consequential loss or damages arising in any manner out of the user’s use of the Site.
The user agrees to indemnify and hold VFS Global, Gulf Air and their officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, clients, joint venture partners and employees, harmless from any claim, expense, loss, damages or demand, including reasonable attorneys fees, incurred or sustained by VFS Global, Gulf Air and / or their officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, clients, joint venture partners and employees arising out of the breach of these terms and conditions by the user and / or any act of omission or commission attributable to user / applicant (or) violation by the user / applicant of any law of any country or the rights of a third party.
Except as explicitly stated otherwise, all notices shall be served on VFS Global at: St Louis Business Centre, Cnr Desroches & St Louis Streets, Port Louis, Mauritius and to the user at the email address :
and/or address provided to VFS Global during the online registration process. Notice is deemed given 24 hours after an email is sent. VFS Global may issue any notice by email or to the address provided during the online registration process.
LAW AND FORUM FOR DISPUTES
This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Mauritius, as they apply to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Mauritius between its residents, without regard to conflicts of law provisions. The user agrees that any claim or dispute he/she may have against VFS Global including but not limited to those that may arise from the use of the Site or services provided by VFS Global must be resolved by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Mauritius to the exclusion of all other courts.
Headings are for reference purposes only and do not limit the scope or extent of such section. VFS Global’s failure to act with respect to a breach by a user / applicant or others does not imply that VFS Global waives its rights in any manner to act with respect to any breach, subsequent or similar breaches. VFS Global reserves the right to take action as it may decide, or as it may be advised /or directed.
Gulf Air may at any time amend this Agreement and VFS Global shall post the amended terms on the Site. Except as stated elsewhere, all amended terms shall automatically be effective as at the time of accessing the Site and using the services. This Agreement may not be otherwise amended except in writing signed by both VFS Global and the user / applicant. This Agreement sets forth the entire understanding and agreement between the user / applicant with VFS Global with respect to the subject matter hereof.
